The Literary Detectives

Read like a critic, answer like an examiner.

“What is an author really telling us when they don't say it out loud?

Overview

The Literary Detectives is designed for confident readers who are ready to go deeper. Students master inference, analyse how authors use language and structure, compare texts and read across classic and modern literature. In the final stage, students practise exam technique under timed conditions, including two full mock comprehensions with individual feedback, so they approach the 11+ and SATs with real confidence.
